"Giving is not just about donating, it's about making a difference."

While we get to save lives, why not? SRF, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Bombay West and D G Goenka Blood Centre, organized a significant Blood Donation Drive and free Thalassemia testing event. Aiming to instil a sense of giving among the young individuals of the college and contribute to a healthier community, this remarkable act of altruism will undoubtedly make a significant impact on the lives of those in need within the community.

The drive saw an overwhelming response, with 352 registrations from SBM NMIMS and an impressive turnout of 222 individuals donating blood. In total, 222 units of blood were collected. Additionally, 74 students took advantage of the free thalassemia testing, emphasizing the event’s focus on raising awareness about this genetic disorder.
