CRY – Child Rights and You: Transforming Childhoods in India
What underprivileged children lack isn't just basic amenities; they lack access to the fundamental rights and resources that many of us take for granted. They have the potential and the drive to rise above their circumstances. What they truly need is a pathway to a brighter future. This is the mission of CRY – Child Rights and You.
The initiative for the year 2023-2024 featured Mrs. Puja Marwaha, CEO of Child Rights & You (CRY) wherein she highlighted stories of major societal transformations, the event allowed us to gain a perspective on different aspects of child advocacy and an individual’s role in the respective segment.
In the #ConversationsForChange series, she articulated her belief in the pivotal role children play in societal progress and underscores our collective responsibility towards upholding child rights in India, emphasised the balance between emotional connection and empathy in child advocacy, sharing insights from her journey within CRY and her leadership philosophy. Offering a glimpse into personal life, revealing how her roles as a partner, mother, and leader influence her advocacy work. Focusing on the significance of holistic change, the importance of innovation, and the challenges of balancing personal and professional commitments. Highlighting the crucial role of collaboration between different sectors to advance child rights and address the changes and challenges young individuals face in the social sector, emphasizing leadership, resilience, and the power of individual action in driving societal change.
